Economic hardship, limited education, and lack of vocational skills prevent thousands of women in rural North Coastal Andhra Pradesh from securing stable employment. With few job opportunities beyond agriculture and daily wage labour, many young women remain financially dependent and struggle to achieve self-sufficiency.

 📌 Limited Skill Development Participation – Only 10% of India’s workforce receives formal vocational training, with rural women having even less access. (MSDE Data)
 📌 Poverty & Early Marriages – 28% of rural women in Andhra Pradesh are married before 18, limiting their financial independence. (NFHS-5 Report)
 📌 Growing Demand for Skilled Workers – The garment & textile industry is expected to generate 8+ million jobs by 2030, increasing the need for skilled workers. (NSDC Report)

To address these pressing issues, Chinmaya Mission Visakhapatnam West has launched a FREE 3-Month Tailoring & Vocational Training Program to equip rural women with essential livelihood skills. This initiative empowers women to earn independently by enabling self-employment & entrepreneurship opportunities.

 ✅ Budgeting, Pricing & Marketing – Turning skills into a profitable business
 ✅ Job Placement & Self-Employment Support – Guidance on finding tailoring jobs & freelance work
