Youth: Are Tomorrow’s Leaders ~ 2/5

Youth must grow within the community. When we emerge out of the womb of the mother, we enter the womb of the society around us. The growing youth cannot mature into cheerful, dynamic, and intelligent young men and women unless the environment provided by the nature and the community are healthy enough for them to grow to their full stature.

Youth are, and should always be, more dynamic than the elderly everywhere in the world. Youth have capacities to clearly see the happenings around them, and they have that daring imagination to see ahead and originally plan a fresh design for the future. It is such dynamic generations of youth that have contributed to almost all revolutions and have pushed the world through various stages of its progress.

The youth of the country must be given the chance to express themselves; they should be ready to make sacrifices for the country and rightly lead the destiny of the people. If the youth is not ready to make all sacrifices, that youth cannot lead a full life, and that nation can no longer remain free and independent. Once they understand the great principles of existence and realize that there is a “science of living”, they will have the audacity to practice and the heroism to consistently pursue it.

If we can carve out such a generation, the youth shall prove themselves responsible members of the society with perfect citizenship with perfect civic sense, ready to fulfil their responsibilities to the people and to the Nation.
